Sub Board
Cover a Class Form
When you take over a class, it is your responsibility to make sure that it is covered. When you need a sub, here is what you should do:
Post to the Sub Board: The sub board is found below.
Be proactive: Don't just post to the board. Slack is the best way to find subs. Post in the appropriate property or city channel that you are looking for a sub, as well as when and where the class is. Reach out individually to instructors.
Update the Sub Board and Pike13: Once you have a sub, update the sub board and change them to the instructor in Pike13, and instruct them how to best access the property at the time of the class. You may need to coordinate a fob trade or meeting with the sub.
48 Hours Notice: If a sub can not be found, the class may need to be rescheduled. Email support@gymstudios.com if this happens. We require 48 hours notice for a class to be rescheduled.
30 Days Notice: If you want to completely drop the class, you must find a new instructor to take it over. Otherwise, you must give 30 days notice before permanently dropping a class.
2 Strikes: You are responsible for your class until a sub has been confirmed. If a sub has not been confirmed, you are still expected to attend. Missing a class will result in 1 strike. Two strikes and your class will be pulled and you will be put on probation.
What if I can't find a sub? You are expected to be there for class.
What if I can't find a sub, and I really can't make the class? We will do our best to cancel the class and schedule a make-up class. We need 48 hours notice to do this effectively.
What if I can't find a sub, and I miss a class with less than 48 hours notice? We will need to schedule a make-up class. You will also receive one strike.
What if no one is showing up for my classes? You are expected to be there for class, but if no one shows up you may leave after 15 minutes. If no one shows up you are to use that time to engage residents and build attendance.
